Here in my E-Portfolio, you will find how I selectively collect work and personal documents of achievement by the grace of God, in one sitting one may come in and browse a visual presentation of my past experiences that allow you to gain a deeper and clearer picture of where I have been, where I am now, and where am I going in my chosen career and should I say calling. I personally believe that developing a portfolio like this is necessary for lifelong and life-wide learning. It is life-wide in the sense that it tries to facilitate learning that happens not just in the classroom, but also in the workplace, church life and service to the Lord Jesus Christ and in family life. It is life-long in the sense that learning is something that happens throughout one's life, through different stages of life, not just within a particular academic program, but from cradle to grave. By the grace of God, I feel fulfilled when I look back and gathered every part of me academically and spiritually in all places where God planted me and instructed to grow where I am destined to do a personal ministry. Here is an organized collection of a complex, performance-based evidence that indicates one's growth, goals, and current knowledge and skills needed to be competent in a role or area of expertise which only by the grace of God can be available to a person seeking to accomplish what the will of the Lord is in our lives that will be lived only once! So make the most of it!!! Today’s age is Information Technology already, so it will be a better option to come out with an electronic portfolio for whatever purpose it will serve your intention, be it for work, reference, ministerial, Bible schooling and teaching, etc. What makes them wonderfully different from traditional portfolios is that they can include scanned or digital photos, video and sound clips, animations, programs, diagrams, recordings of students, text, traditional writing and drawings. That’s what you’re gonna see here. The modern portfolios boost self-esteem, praise God esp. as you work for His vineyard where people expect their spiritual leader to be one who’s got the dignity and integrity, there is moral ascendancy and transcendence like what Christ modeled in His earthly ministry! Another reason is I preferred to document the goodness of God in me, the accomplishments and varied talents He invested in me, the intellect of revolutionary leadership (particularly in the prophetic ministry of Endtimes Updates Pinoypedia where we opened the eyes of people who are afraid of future events), and the physical strength to put up pioneering works and rising buildings for His glory!!! I am turning 50 this December 2, 2009 and as I assume the Golden Boy in me, I would rather not wait for the years when I become totally non-ambulant, I can’t think of myself on walkers or wheelchairs, but for as long as I got the strength and intellect to work I will move on to do what the Lord wanted me accomplished in my life. Life is Beautiful in His time! Don’t waste it when there are people dying who needs it, and people getting so old and needs it! DON’T LOSE HOPE, LIFE HAS TO OFFER MORE WHEN WE HAVE THE GRAY HAIRS, OH THE SALT AND PEPPER, AND THE WRINKLES OF GLORIOUS YEARS! You see me here create my Electronic Portfolio which was beyond imagination 40 years ago but now I take advantage so when breathless I rest, this e-record and blog will perpetuate how good was God to me when I was yet living! I will not pass this way again but I got heaven where I guess I shouldn’t be hoping to be back here when I get there, correct? Young people, here’s an example of how a visual representation of accomplishments and goals reached, look like. Create your own e-portfolio, this is a way to show individuality and creativity. It is a concrete piece of evidence displaying God’s talents in you that you possess and providing insight into potential areas of interest. It is a place to organize your thoughts and tenets relating to issues in learning, growing and ministering. The organized presentation allows a student , a professional, a career person, a teacher, professor, principal, and man of God to submit work, review it and aggregate the information over an academic career and ministerial service. In turn, this e-portfolio provides the prospective employer and church board missions, with relevant information about the potential employee or church worker. In today's competitive job market and mission fields, employers and church leaders are increasingly interested in what a potential employee or church worker has done and can do. Normally, a job or ministerial work applicant can always tell employers about his / her skills / achievements, but the best way is to show them by using an electronic portfolio. The best portfolios show self-reflection and an ability to distinguish what was good, what could have been better, and why something worked as expected or failed to do so but with feet still touching the ground. PRAISE GOD, WE GOT A HIGH-TECH, E-PORTFOLIO THAT WE MAY CREATE FOR THE GLORY OF GOD, WHOSE PURPOSE IS POINT TO THE ALMIGHTY GOD WHO GIVES THE PROVIDENCE AND GOODNESS BY HIS GRACE!
